Dorisanne Soyka
Dorisanne Soyka’s passion for gourd art was ignited over 15 years ago when she left the corporate world behind and began focusing on her artistic side. She describes her first gourd art experience as an “inspirational awakening” and says she was, “caught up in a spiritual connection between the gourds, nature and self.” She uses a variety of techniques like painting, wood burning, and weaving to create gourd baskets, wall art, jewelry and more.
