Ninfa Mottershead
A native of Colombia, Ninfa trained as a
professional graphic designer earning a BFA from
the University of Denver School of Fine Art.
Upon relocation to Tampa, FL, she continued her
fine art education studying first at
Hillsborough College, then, relocating to
California, she studied at Santa Monica College,
Studio 13 in South Pasadena, and took fine art
classes with David Leffel in Calabasas and at
Sevada Studios in Glendale, CA. From 1998 to
2003 she was in three group fine art exhibitions
and had five individual exhibitions with her
last at California State University Los Angeles.
Upon her arrival in
Sedona, she became a member of the Sedona Arts
Center and, shortly thereafter, her painting,
"Women of Darfur," won a ribbon at the 2006
juried members' show. Ninfa specializes in oil
paintings of Sedona and Flagstaff landscapes. |
