The Art Workshops and Art Classes offer intensive art immersion opportunities for all levels of experience. Demonstrations, lectures, individual attention and group critique are included in each art workshop.

School of the Arts

Development of talent and an appreciation of the visual arts is core to the Arts Center's mission. Workshops, Classes, Field Expeditions and unique Art Experiences offer instruction in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, photography, and more.

Over 200 diverse opportunities each year include unique workshops with nationally-known artists, community classes with exceptional local instructors, and field expeditions to exotic locales. There are options available for every level of experience from beginners who are taking their first steps in creative expression, to emerging and professional artists who want to expand their horizons. Art Experiences provide various forms of "quick take" opportunities from an adventure in art appreciation to an afternoon of hands-on engagement in different art forms.
