Experience the versatility of clay.
Professional ceramicist and instructor, Dennis Ott,
will lead students of all levels through an
adventure with clay. The week will include throwing
on the potter’s wheel, extruding and using the slab
roller for hand building. We will use finishing
techniques such as stains, colored slips and various
glazing techniques. We finish off the week with
alternative firings in Saggar, Raku and Horse Hair
as well as more traditional glaze firings. Come with
an open mind and a desire to experience the "clay
person" within you and leave with projects you’ll be
proud to display. All materials included. |
